HP CP1215 Printer Reviews
The HP CP1215 printer is a fast and reliable printer powered by a Motorola processor that works at 264 MHz; has 16 MB of standard memory used for storing print jobs; has a USB 2.0 port that functions as a connector to a PC (cables are purchased separately from the printer).
CP1215 is not a speed printer, but users get more attention to this part because they get their money’s value through excellent and exceptional graphics.
Having an ultra-compact design with dimensions of 10 inches high, 15.7 inches wide, and a depth of 17.8 (399 x 453 x 254 mm), this 18.2 kg printer can fit on your computer desktop, so you are sure you will save space. You can also add digital images to your business documents from a memory card.
There is already a built-in memory card slot so users can now print directly from devices that support PictBridge, such as digital cameras. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with Mac systems. This only works for Windows 2000 and newer products. Minimum requirements: Microsoft Windows 2000, XP Home, XP Professional, Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7: 512MB RAM, 350MB hard disk space, CD-ROM drive, available USB port.
HP Toner CP1215
The HP ColorSphere and HP ImageREt 2400 tandem toners create a touch of professionalism in printouts. One of the strengths of CP1215 and perhaps one of the most important is the quality in producing outstanding prints; clear images, sharper text, and graphics (600 x 600 dpi for black and colour printing). Besides, the one-door access located on the front of the printer makes it easy for you to replace all four cartridges after they are finished. Although inexpensive and user-friendly, the main disadvantage of owning this HP product is the high cost of replacing toner. The cost of a complete set of toner cartridges is double the overall price of the CP1215 itself. This printer also has a high ink consumption, which only adds to the dilemma of its users.
Paper / Medium
HP CP1215 printers can print on A4 size paper up to 12 pages per minute (black) or up to 8 pages per minute (colour) using HP In-line colour laser printing technology. And with Instant-on technology, the printer uses a more efficient fuse to produce the first page of work faster (coming from low power mode). In black, it can finish the first page in as fast as 25.5 seconds, whereas, in colour, it can be as fast as 31.5 seconds.
