Xerox Phaser 6110 Printer Review
There are so many large laser printing machines on the market that a consumer needs to learn more about each one carefully. This is why we are going to be spending some time reviewing the Xerox Phaser 6110 printer. There are large laser printers out there with higher specs. However, this machine offers a high level of quality and reliable, and this makes it the perfect mid-range machine.
We have already mentioned how the specs on this machine are not the highest level of specs that one might find on the market. Some of the other laser units are faster; however, not that much faster. This machine can crank out four-color pages (at full quality) in a minute. Seventeen black and white pages can be done in the same amount of time.
People are very impressed with the type of large printing devices that can hold over three hundred pages at a time. This one only holds a hundred and fifty; however, this creates some apparent advantages. It is a little more size sufficient and lighter than some of the other devices out there. The consumer doesn’t have to look far to find some advantages.
Since any machine review should mention at least one feature the particular printer excels in, we are going to do just that. This printer has incredible operating system support. It supports all of the standard Windows as well as Mac-based operating systems. It also does Linux in various versions and not just the red hat versions either!
Nobody likes to use devices that do not have a good energy star rating. Xerox knows this, and this is why this machine rates well under the energy star standard. Also, keep in mind that it has a unique energy-saving mode. This means that the printer can be left running all day and, while in this mode, will consume seventeen watts of power instead of over three hundred!
Another crucial thing to mention is that many of the other companies that sell machines of this size do so through the utilization of ink-based technology. Nobody likes ink printing in the modern world. One negative side effect of ink-based distribution is the way that the pages bleed. Another negative side effect is the lack of quality when compared to work that has been done by a laser machine such as this one.
When you invest in this machine, you are buying a printer that is sold by a major player in the world of printing, Xerox. This means that, like most of the larger companies, you are going to get an unparalleled level of customer support. It also means that you are going to have access to a vast company website that should be able to help you with some of the most fundamental issues that are likely to come up.
